Statistically, it's about 49% for boys and 51% for girls.

Although 50% seems the obvious answer, it must be different for every couple but it must be impossible to tell:

The gender of the baby depends on the man's sperm that actually penetrates the egg - whether it's a male or female sperm, but also the woman's environment to host said sperm - if it's alkaline or acidic.

There must be ways to determine the likelihood of male or female and I'm sure in some families, it's almost 100% one gender or the other - there are some people with large families all of one sex: who knows, perhaps they can't have the other gender.

As for your Disneyland comment, at the risk of appearing sterotypical, I would suggest that perhaps such a resort appeals more to girls than boys? Whereas, if you went to our Diggerland, you would find oodles more boys....!

50% chance of a boy. No matter what position you had sex in or what day of the month, it is always 50%. Maybe the boys were there the next week.

No matter what there is always a 50/50 chance.

50/50 if all things are fair. But with some of the whore-moans out there the odds change to the female side more than they should be. But the birth rate has always been more girls than boys: even before the Whore-moan treatments. So my concept could be all wet, but I am sticking with it.
