For the most part yes!

We always want more! It just does not alway happen. But not because we do not try! Most guys who are your friend if you said lets have sex. Their would not be any questions asked!

For most men the two categories of women. Women they have slept with, and Women they have not slept-ed with yet!

The old saying is somewhat true. I have many friends that are girls. I have dated some of them in the past but I never ended up with them. They are still my friends even though I did date them long ago.
It's sad that the first thing a guy notices is the look of a women. I do it and every guy will continue to do it.
It is not impossible for a guy to be only a friend to a women but it's difficult.
We rely on closeness where women rely on interaction and communication. I think that is where it gets confusing. Usually a friendship happens when the guy ultimately realizes that the fact of dating you isn't a possibility.

I think that this question is best answered by the following conversation from When Harry Met Sally:

Harry Burns: You realize of course that we could never be friends.
Sally Albright: Why not?
Harry Burns: What I'm saying is - and this is not a come-on in any way, shape or form - is that men and women can't be friends because the sex part always gets in the way.
Sally Albright: That's not true. I have a number of men friends and there is no sex involved.
Harry Burns: No you don't.
Sally Albright: Yes I do.
Harry Burns: No you don't.
Sally Albright: Yes I do.
Harry Burns: You only think you do.
Sally Albright: You say I'm having sex with these men without my knowledge?
Harry Burns: No, what I'm saying is they all WANT to have sex with you.
Sally Albright: They do not.
Harry Burns: Do too.
Sally Albright: They do not.
Harry Burns: Do too.
Sally Albright: How do you know?
Harry Burns: Because no man can be friends with a woman that he finds attractive. He always wants to have sex with her.
Sally Albright: So, you're saying that a man can be friends with a woman he finds unattractive?
Harry Burns: No. You pretty much want to nail 'em too.
Sally Albright: What if THEY don't want to have sex with YOU?
Harry Burns: Doesn't matter because the sex thing is already out there so the friendship is ultimately doomed and that is the end of the story.
Sally Albright: Well, I guess we're not going to be friends then.
Harry Burns: I guess not.
Sally Albright: That's too bad. You were the only person I knew in New York.

You know that's a really interesting question and I think it deserves a complete and thorough answer. I think that most people believe that If a girl and a guy are "together" say even walking down the street then they're obviously a couple, it's just our human nature to think like that.

You know I've got female friends that mean the world to me, we can share anything, talk about anything and they're some of the best friends I have. But they're just that friends and in my eyes I'll treasure them forever but I'll never think of them "In that way" if you know what I mean. I really hope this answer helps you,

Best of luck
xx

In some cases I believe that theory is true. But I think that it's not just the men it could be either person. I have always felt that men and women can't be friends without one of them developing feelings at some point. But in some cases people have been known to just be friends and nothing more but it's rare these days.

A friend of mine for over 10 years (a girl) asked me this a few weeks ago. Some guys will only be friends with a girl if something happens romantically between them.
This friend of mine means so much to me that being friends with her is more important that anything else and nothing's happened between us. It's a hard thing to explain.

Not true. I've had two very good and loyal lady friends. One of them was a girl I used to work with.Even though she's now married with her own family she still keeps in touch. The other lady was a friend of my wife (now deceased). She is a good friend to me and my whole family . She still phones me and visits whenever she can. So you see, you can have a genuine friendship with a lady without having any romantic commitment.

that is def not true. my two best friends are both guys. one of the guys i've hung out with almost every day for the past two years. he and i have never been interested in each other as more than friends. plus, it would be so gross- he is like my brother, and he says im like his sister.
boys and girls can honestly be just friends- but it does help if both of you are dating other people.

Not true. It depends on the guy and the girl and whether or not they are looking for more than just a friendship. I have guy friends and we are nothing more than friends.

Thats not true. Its a lot easier for a girl to be friends with a guy, because being friends with other girls causes infinite drama. Girls are evil. guys are alot more chill to be with.
