really small turtles under 4 inches are illegal i belive so keep that on the down side.
But if they are RES or red ear sliders, then u should look into at least 55 gallons as they will get large.
Generally you dont stock fish with turtles, as they may eat one if they can catch it. It is just how nature works. Dont get me wrong, it can be done but dont stock with fishes that you arent willing to lose.

Yes, but you have to create a platform that the turtles can get on that is out of the water. Plus you want small turtles and not snapping turtles. Also docile fish not aggressive ones! Fresh water not salt water. I have mixed them together before, the tank actually turns out great. I recommend using a 20 gallon long not a 10 gallon.

Yes, but turtles eat fish (if they can catch them). I'm sure that eventually the fish would get eaten since they only have 10 gallons allowed for maneuverability. If you want the fish to live longer I'd probably get a separate tank for the turtles.

Well, you really can't due to turtles needing land as they can not stay in the water for long they need to come onto land to breathe and rest. Fish on the other hand need to be in water 24/7 so that would mean filling up the tank which the turtle I'm pretty sure won't tolerate it is better to put them in separate tanks.

A ten gallon will not fit the needs for a turtle but yes you could put fish with turtles but most likely the turtle will eat a fish if can catch it.

Yes, if you do not mind the turtle eating a few of your fish every few days. But if you want to keep both fish and turtle happy, keep them in separate tanks.

Yes. Be sure to keep the occupants well fed however, because hunger will drive the turtles to consider the fish as possible meals.

It depends, how big are the turtles and how big do they grow too. the only problem that you might have is the tutrles eating the fish. reseach on the species of fish.

turtles will polute the water more than most fish can deal with. if you keep your water super clean then you can give your turtles live feeders and everyone will be happy -- except the feeders i guess.
