someone at school a while back stuck a coin to the desk, and we all just HAD to try and get it off, even though we knew it was stuck down! we didn't manage it...

YES lol It was a shiny 50 pence and someone had glued it onto the ground at a very busy place. Embarrassing but I saw the funny side of it. What was worse and has happened a couple of times, I have gone to pick up a penny and it was a chocolate button!!! Now THAT is embarrassing! But still funny!
No I am not embarrassed to pick up a coin from the ground. I can turn it to something good like put the coin into the nearest charity pot.

The best version of this I ever saw was in my local pub. There were a 50p and a £1 coin glued to the floor with super glue. one fella had a well deserved reputation as a tight a*se.He trried to pick them up, he tried to kick them loose, he was ribbed all night for this, he sank 4 pints or so and left. He came back in 15 minutes later with a hammer and chisel and chiseled the buggers up!He was of course banned from the pub for damaging the wooden floor. There was a ride on Blackpool pleasure called The Goldmine, the workers on there had stuck money to the floor and put clear plastic over it,they used to laugh like hell at oeople trying to take it !

I've seen that done in the middle of a busy town square. A nice 50p glued down with god knows what. It was funny to watch so many people try and get it.

i do and that i keep all the money i discover in a definite jar marked angels funds....then I donate to a charity interior the call of angels. for...at present i found a penny, purely laying on the floor. although that is not in easy terms a penny, This little coin i've got discovered. discovered pennies come from heaven. that's what my Grandpa instructed me. He suggested Angels toss them down. Oh, how I enjoyed that tale. He suggested whilst an Angel misses you, They toss a penny down, sometimes purely to cheer you up, To make a grin out of your frown. So do not bypass via that penny once you're feeling blue; it would desire to be a Penny from Heaven That an Angel's tossed to you. bypass this directly to the folk who you care approximately and who you sense that are angels to you. An angel is now staring at over you.

yeah someone stuck 20p in my street and i tried to pick it up i heard people sniggering so realised it was stuck, and before i was out shopping with my kids and saw this old lady hitting the floor with her stick someone had glued a pound to the floor she spent ages trying to get it off the floor poor lady!!what a waste of money

When I was a waitress, there was a little kid who wanted to try and trick the servers with a dollar on a string so I would tell them that they dropped something and when they went to pick it up he would jerk it back. Needless to say, I got a huge tip form that family!

Sure have. Seen it on a counter at an auto parts store, imbedded in the floor in a factory. You can't help yourself the first time-you have to try to pick it up or kick it. ♣

i did that on a pavement somewhere - there were 3 coins all glued down in a row....embarrassing...

a shopkeeper i knew had one glued to his wooden floor
and would piss himself laughing as customers tried to pick it up
