Get out and get busy. Take a walk, go to your favorite store, watch a funny movie. The worst thing you can do is sit and dwell on it. I hope you cheer up soon :)

Usually when I feel unhappy and depressed I always tell myself that there are those who are less fortunate then myself and that I should be grateful for what I have rather than dwell on what I don't have.
And when u are unhappy focus on all the positives rather than the negatives. Usually the unhappy times are just a phase and it will pass.
One way to overcome the unhappy times is to share ur feelings with ur loved ones, those are the ones who will comfort u and support u.
Other things that may help is listening to happy music or exercising those give u endorphins, hormones which are proven to make u more happy.

The key to immediate happiness is to raise your endorphin level in your brain, and you can do this by some form of low impact arobic exercise, like a brisk walk, just jogging in place at home, dancing etc. Also just thinking of things that you enjoy, and putting a plan into place to achieve them, will make you happy too!

it depends what is the motive of your unhappiness, but you should clear your mind because no human can well function feeling like that.

Remeber what makes you happy. Don't focus on any one thing that may be out of your present reach. Children's laughter is contagious. Make one child happy and you will feel happier also.

i usually start with thinking happy thoughts then i count my blessings then i start thinking about my dreams and how i can fulfill them... then act on them... actually, it's just a matter of redirecting your thoughts.
happiness is a state of mind... you can be happy anytime..whenever you choose to be.
