the body is made of steel for strength and the cells are made of lead,you really wouldn't want a car body made of anything else,it wouldn't be safe in the event of an accident,good luck with it.

Would you really wnat a car made of anything other that Steel? If you were in a crash don't you want somthing strong?

My Saturn Vues body is made of resin, doesn't scratch or dent , colors don't fade.

Bad point is if it gets hit hard enough it breaks and has be replaced instead of straightened.
