i know it was sometime in the 60's or 70's but what year exactilly did they get to do everything white people did?

African-Americans were given the same rights as whites when the civil was ended in 1865 with the ratification of the 13th amendment. The civil rights movement was fought by blacks in the 60's and 70's to gain equal access to things white Amerians had been using like voting, schools, jobs, libraries, and restaurants. African-Americans always had the right to do what white people did they just couldn't exercise them because of fear of retaliation by whites (lynching, murdering, burning houses etc, etc) and discrimination by the white elite in power.

I don't think Af-Am do have the rights yet. People want to think they do legal , but in society Af-Am are still treated different . In the work site Af-Am. end up with the worst jobs. I am white and I see it every day. Sorry but Af-Am. don't have all the rights that Whites do.

lol, the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments allowed African Americans to receive all these equality rights. But i'm afraid i do not recall the years...

"Jim Crow" laws were repealed via the Civil Rights Act of 1964 . This is probably the date you are looking for.

1860's when slavery was abolished (13th admendment). Look up 14th admendment
