and learned a few months ago that I had a hormonal imbalance. My doctor put me on birth control for 3 months to re-vamp my overies and get them moving on the right track...I am now off the birth control, and am back on track to have a baby. I was just curious if anyone else has had the same problem and if they have now had success in starting a family.

I am in the same boat -in my case, we are hopeful that my hormonal imbalance is related to my weight - I'm about 40 pounds overweight. So, I am about to start bc again for 3 months and use that time to focus on my fitness, nutrition and overall health. Around New Year's, my doc. will re-do all my labwork to check my hormone levels and hopefully I will have lost enough weight to begin ttc again! I know it seems backwards to go on bc when you want a baby - I just keep telling myself its all for the best in the long run!

Best of luck to you on starting a family!

Its common for women to go on the pill, or even clomid, for this very reason. Just about all are able to start a family after.
