I made a video in windows movie maker and I can't figure out what to save it as. When you go to save your project you have to choose a file type and I was wondering which setting I should use. These files don't just say '.avi, .gif,' etc. so it's not very straightforward.

It must be FLV or WMV or MPEG .

probably mpeg, mayyybe wmv... but mpeg is most commonly used.
a .gif is an image file, not a vid.
