Hi everyone!

Every year my family has a Christmas party. And, as a gift you have to bring something that you have made by hand. You can buy all of the supplies to make it but you have to make it yourself. The past 2 years I have made cookies and a rag tie blanket. This year I want it to be somthing really good. Most people spend $60-$100 on the supplies. Could you guys send me some fun and great ideas for my party? The criteria is it has to go to someone 21 and up either male or female. (Keep in mind that it is my family so nothing dirty please) I am at an intermediate level for projects but I'm looking for something really good. Pics would also be really helpful.

Wow, I have researched this one for a while and this is pretty hard. Okay here are a few ideas I am not sure if it is what you are looking for. Possibly some hand painted wine glasses or shot glasses. Or Some home made soap or candles. Maybe you can combined a mixture of things and put them all in a homemade basket. Or a funny one would be a toliet seat cover with a matching toliet tank cover. Best of luck! Great idea for though for Christmas Family Get togethers.

What about making your own Christmas ornaments? My daughters and i made ornaments for gifts last year for Christmas and we had a blast. They're so easy to make but they look great. Here's a link to the instructions http://www.bfranklincrafts.com/CraftIdeas/CraftIdea-LuminarteOrn.html

I also think scarves or maybe a hand knitted throw would be great. If you can't knit or crochet though look into getting yourself a knifty knitter. The knifty knitter is a loom that you use to knit just about anything. It's really easy and so quick to use. I got myself one a few years ago and I love it. You can do so many things with it, hats scarves, blankets, just about anything you can do with regular knitting needles if you're creative. Here's another link to some other knifty knitter projects http://www.provocraft.com/projects/projects.php?dsp=list&prdindex=kniftyknitter.

Hope that helps, good luck!

One year I made hand etched beer mugs for all the men in my family. I etched their monogram on them. The stencils were cut out of white contact paper that was applied to the mug. I cut out the monograms and etched where the contact was removed. You'll need to find the style lettering you want ( I used an old English style ). Draw the design on the contact before applying to the mug. The etching cream can be purchased at any large craft store. I got the book on monograms at the site below. It was quite inexpensive.

You could knit or crochet a scarf. Easy and relatively fast! I wouldn't mind getting one! :)

You should visit craftster.org, its my favorite website for crafts. it literally has thousands of crafts that people have made, in all different categories, and people often give tutorials on how to make them. Good luck!
