I can't stand it either! As long as McCartney is alive WHY in the hell does Jacko have the rights? Using "The The" to sell M&M's made me angry and why the hell is anyone using Devo's "Whip It" to sell cleaning products? Makes no sense and irks me.

oh common, I highly doubt that if Paul McCartney had the rights to those songs that he wouldn't sell them to commercials. and michael jackson is not a freak, and Paul McCartney and Michael are friends.

If I were a fan of them then I would be happy to hear their music played on commercials, Michael Jackson is not a freak and he bought the rights to the music fair and square!

It makes me feel old, and a little betrayed. The great classics shouldn't be used like that.
I heard the KISS song "Rock and Roll All Night" in a muzak version once. I remember thinking that Gene must have needed a new wig.

Michael is not a freak it least he is still singing. you aught to be lucky they still play the Beatles. they are not singing any new songs like Michael is.
