War profiteers love war period. Those that say that war profiteering trickles down and compare it to post WWII profiteering are failing to understand that it is American tax dollars that are providing the profits this time around. The Administration is paying these companies with our money. But conservatives don't have a problem being overcharged by a power of ten or bribing Iraqi officials with our money. THAT particular form of taxation is somehow acceptable.

MSNBC incredibly truthfully allowed many liberal hosts bash the war, alongside with Keith Olbermann, between the main combative liberals there is. in case you're suggesting that MSNBC actively promoted the war, you’d be incorrect. They have been between the only cable networks the place you may desire to many times pay attention how insane the cherry-choosing of intelligence became and the completed 9 yards. you relatively heard NONE of that on Fox.

Do American farmers make out like bandits? The Government buys huge amounts of food to ship overseas to give away. Do various printing offices make out like bandits? The printing of the Federal Budget costs $$$$$ and uses untold amounts of paper. Why don't they just put it on a CD? Would cost about $0.50. Everybody makes money. The arms manufactures are also taking a lot of that money and putting it into research and development for new equipment, arms and weapons for our troops. A new armored vehicle is a lot more complicated than slapping some steel plating on a Humvee. They spend huge amounts of money on R&D. I think we get more bang for the buck (sorry about that) than we do for Federal dollars spent on education.

I know this is something that really upsets people but here it is......ANYONE who owns stocks, through their 401K's, of these 600+ companies profitting off war contracts is also a war profitteer!!!

It's painful to admit I know....but it is true nonetheless!!!

War profiteers? You mean Americans? Because that money does trickle down you know.... do you really think Halliburton and the like just hold it on to it, lock it in a vault never to be opened? No, they buy products at American stores, invest in American companies and pay salaries to Americans working for them. These people then turn around and do the same. War profiteering is what made this country strong post WW2; the prosperity we enjoy today is all a result of that.
