Move to Arizona.Only state where it is legal to do as you are describing.States that authorize a concealed handgun, expect them to be concealed.
Maryland!!??,good luck.last time I checked the libs there would have a conniption if you mention the word "handgun".

Depends on the state. In most western states you do not need a permit to carry as long as it is not concealed. In NYC or WDC you can't even talk about guns without risking arrest.
Contact the NRA, they know about all of the laws.

Wyoming requires a concealed weapons permit. Lived there for 3 years, carried my 9mm for 2 years once the Sheriff granted me the permit. Same as when I lived in Iowa.

Not a prayer. Not in Maryland. It is probably one of the 5 most restrictive.
Amos is wrong...Vermont also allows open carry.
Two down, 48 to go....

John Wayne you ain't. Don't be a silly s*d, leave the guns in the shop.
If it wasn't for people like you wanting to buy and carry a gun, there would not be anywhere near as much gun crime as there actually is.

The general law is the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Don't . Hand guns are just a tragedy waiting for a place to happen. They give the user a false sense of security and power.
And most cops these days don't bother to ask why you are carrying. They shoot first and loot the body.
