- "accusing it of imposing "a 19-year reign of fear"?
how about your killing fields?
- "Americans are outraged by the situation in Burma,"?
so now you want to do something? they have been outraged about Iraq too, did you respond to their concerns?
- "Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a bitter foe of the United States"?
he is not a bitter foe of anyone. he said he wanted to use nukilar energy for civil use, he has the right to do so. And if he wants nukilar weapons, he should too so that to defend himself from invaders, the destroyers of civilization.
- "Bush urged other nations to support countries that are struggling for democracy."?
US a democracy? not even close. people have the right to choose between clinton and giuliani but they do not have the choice of putting them out there in the first place. they are promoted and brought to the scene by the masonic order.

"The people of Lebanon and Afghanistan and Iraq have asked for our help, and every civilized nation has a responsibility to stand with them," Bush said."
they never asked for help little idiot, otherwise why are they fighting you and kicking your butt and now you are bringing the troops back?. why did they kill 4000 and injured hundreds of thousands of americans then?. you invaded them.

""Every civilized nation also has a responsibility to stand up for the people suffering under dictatorship," the president said. "In Belarus, North Korea, Syria and Iran, brutal regimes deny their people the fundamental rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration" of the United Nations."
how is it civilized to go out there and murder or cause the killing of a million people, how about korea, somalia and vietnam? is that civilized? and people can choose any system to govern themselves, its not your damn business. yes u were elected but so was hitler.

Are you joking or are you really as much of an ignorant moron as your post implies.
Firstly, It's spelled *nuclear*
As for Burma, I hardly believe that supporting a pro-democracy citizenry or being outraged at the fact that one can be thrown in prison for doing so is in any way outrageous. And, how the heck do you believe the situation in Iraq is in any way analogous.
Ahmadinejad ascended to office in Iraq specifically using an extremist anti-US platform. He has made his opinions of the United States well known and he is *not* our friend no matter how much sugar coated rhetoric he spews when he gets a good press opportunity. Additionally, Iran is drowning in energy resources, the last thing in the world they need is a nuclear reactor for civilian purposes. If you believe that supplying electricity is the true purpose than you truly need to pull your head out of whatever hole you have it inserted in.
As for democracy, do you have a problem with supporting countries that are struggling to achieve one?
And lastly, you obviously know little about American democracy. If you don't like Clinton or Giuliani than you should vote in the party primaries, that is where *the people* choose who will represent their party. Further, there have been numerous independent candidates over the years and as for alternative parties, the Libertarians hold several seats in congress.
-- Edit --
Well, that's darned dissapointing. I expected much more in the way of a retort from you than a passing reference to the fact that our President speaks with a Texas accent.

The bitter irony should not be missed. If the choice were today between Hill and Ghouliani, I could accept that, although I would hope for a better Dem nominee than Hill, IF ALL THE VOTES WERE COUNTED. One hopes for the day there is again an HONEST national election in the USA. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

No -- Bush urges the UN to say things that give him an excuse to do what he wants to do anyway -- but Bush is perfectly willing to ignore the UN when the UN doesn't agree with Bush's goals.
Bush has no interest in spreading freedom -- at home or abroad -- he just wants to extend American control and authority, because that gives him more power.
