Okay - I was so shocked - this guy was a selfish freak. He said they were in a "bad" way financially and the third one helped them out - then what the heck is he doing cruising around on his motorcycle and having this fancy pool, etc.? I feel really bad for the kids, too! My hope when I was watching it was that he would watch it and realize how his kids felt - literally though, I don't think he really cared. I mean, in the end could he LOSE the pic of Denise????

No I didn't watch it. Polygamy is a hard thing to institute in a monogamous culture. However there are various cultures that do it well, and some cases having multiple fathers helps children to survive by providing a more consistent supply of food.

I would have to have seen the show to evaluate the state of the family though, your interpretation may be totally right or not. However you can not really draw any conclusions from a single example, you can only say that that one is dysfunctional just like you could point to many monogamous families and say similar things.

I saw the program.. And you'r right, this guy was a total jerk, a real control freak.. He seriously expects his family to deal with whatever whim he has with no questions asked.. If those 2 "wives" were smart, they'd BOTH leave him. Between alimony and child support they'd do just fine.

sure, I observed it, and that i agree completely with Leroyboy! the guy grow to be a suited egomaniac, and as others have mentioned, knows a thank you to p.c.. females with low self-esteems! are you able to suspect his "philosophy"?? --- "i don't have faith in monogamy"? i may be curious if considered one of his better halves (exceedingly the 1st one) got here out with an identical philosophy and had to deliver yet another husband into the fold! i'm confident Mr. Psychologist might have a extensive undertaking with that! Whatta JERK!
