Is there a security setting I need to take care of on this computer?

You can ftp your site.
The security is on the server's computer.
and you can open your account of FTP on any computer. If it is not opening then please contact the servers of your site hosting company.
or a fault can b accoured in the computer that you use.

Either the destination is blocking one of the computers, or the computer having the problems has security set to not let you perform ftps to the site (or maybe at all).
You haven't told us enough about what you have to know if there is a security setting some place to change.

Could be many things, firewall, dns. If your site has support, I'd contact them.
