I assume it's to give the Athletics a couple of extra hours to get home. If the game starts at 7, ends at 10, to the airport at 11, take off at 12, 5-hour flight minimum so land at 2 Pacific time. That's a long day. At least they get in at midnight this way.

Of course, it probably will be a 4-hour game.

somewhat remarkable.. the angels coaches and the enterprise are greater effective than that. i comprehend the unhappiness and the anger exceptionally while the angels face boston at fenway. This "opposition yet not extremely" has been happening on account that Dave Henderson and Donnie Moore no? So specific there continuously seems to be one in all those intensity each and every time we play Boston. in spite of the shown fact that i could desire to assert that umps are those with hard jobs and in the event that they have been given verbally abused they have a acceptable to adhere up for themselves. yet they'd desire to understand that the coaches have been merely blowing off steam it became into an fairly tricky interest. And heck do not they get hassled each and all the time besides? Do i think of he would desire to have made that decision? nicely all people with as a lot adventure as Mr Reed would desire to have made that decision.. regardless of its performed and over with. Sheesh if it is all happening in a time-honored season interest i will not wait till postseason......

It might be a make up game, and they wanted to keep the original time. But I'm sure it is just to allow more travel time for the A's, who return home to Oakland for the final series of the season.

I was wondering that myself. Before I knew it was a home game I thought it was in oak (west time) but it's not.
Beats me.
