I am a high school student. When everyone else was joining cliques three years ago, I didn't. My best friend is the most popular guy in the grade. He hangs out with the sport people, but I don't. The only cliques in my grade are the sport people, the unpopular people of (truly honestly) questionable sexual orientation, the druggies and the people who are into vehicles. Mostly I hang around with people in upper grades of a mildly popular clique. Most people see me as a bit of a nerd, although I've heard some of my own jokes being quoted a bit by everyone. People from every clique will talk to me, but no more than pleasant conversation. How can I join a clique in my own grade that feels comfortable to me?

Once you are out of school, cliques will have NOTHING to do with life. Why not just be cool with everyone? Do you want to be put in a category? As long as you have good friends, that accept you for you does it matter?

Well, this is a tough one. Only you know where you fit in. Best just to get along with everyone and not join a gang (I mean clique). LOL

You don't have to be in a "cliquie", enjoy just being able to freely go where you want.
