How people tell me I put myself out there & invite people to hurt my feelings by being here on Y!A or MySpace, but then they use this site &/or has MySpace. Doesn't EVERYONE who use the internet put him/herself OUT THERE?

It depends on how you look at it. Even though they use the same sites, they are probably not sensitive to getting their feelings hurt. Everyone who uses the internet puts themselves out there to a certain extent, but not necessarily enough to get their feelings hurt by other online users.

Yep - to a certain extent we all open ourselves up. But really the crucial thing here is how much you care about the answers - isn't it?
Try not to worry what they say mate - let them mire in their personal hell created by their negativity and insecurity - you don't need to go there - upsy Daisy - there you go!!

Well, no.... maybe you shouldn't open yourself up so much to complete strangers. If they do hurt your feelings, just remember that they do not know you so don't really take their bad comments seriously.

Maybe, but if you say something a stupid then don't be surprised when people respond that way. If you are that emotionally volitile then maybe you shouldn't entrust your problems to strangers.
