Yes, it is ... some companies will give you a warning before suspending you. But, be forewarned, after suspension comes dismissal. This should be explained in your Code of Business Conduct.

Yes, it is a severe violation. If you do it 3 times, you can be fired.

If you forget once, they probably won't. If you are doing it because you are late, or leave early and want to hide it, then yes. And they should.

they should fire you, its not that hard to punch in or out. If your unable to do that you should not have a job.
