Can you be a fireman with a misdemeanor on your record?

A misdemeanor should not preclude you from obtaining employement as a firefighter. The only possibility where it could would be detrimental to employment is if the misdemeanor involved domestic violence or a crime of moral turpitude.

You could contact the agency where you're interested and ask them directly for an accurate answer!
