Because they went to Mean School where they graduated with a degree in meaness. No actually not as simple as that....
Why do little boys like pulling the legs off insects? They get a sense of power by having another creature submit wholly to their will. They might grow up and become more mature but their attitudes and insecurities remain. It is amazing how far people would be willing to go given the right set of circumstances and environment. So we need laws and regulations to keep people in check. Otherwise our society will fall into a state of anarchy, much akin to what happens to people in a war.

Because if everyone was nice life would be boring! I personally love to hate!! That's why there is always a bad guy or a mean girl in movies and T.V ..entertainment!!

people feel "protected" on the internet - they can say what they want b/c they have the veil of anonymity. it's ridiculous actually that that is the only way some people get a rise - anonymously and at the expense of others.
