yes it irritated me and I flung my monitor to the ground in rage.

The match that you're thinking of was a 12 all draw and the record that Canada lost with that match was that they had won at least one match at all previous World Cups. This time around that 12 all draw was their best result. It also ended a 16(??) match losing streak at the World Cup for Japan. Canada's other results were; 9/9/07 v Wales 42-17 (L), 16/9/07 v Fiji 29-16 (L), 23/9/07 v Japan 12-12 (D), 29/9/07, v Australia 37-6 (L). Hope this answers your question satisfactorily. :-)

Well, I must say, I have been disappointed with Canada's performance throughout the tournament!
I thought they would have offered more than they did, and just as well they have great scrum half in Morgan Williams, as they would have done a lot worse!
On saying that, he fecked up tonight in the 80th minute, had he not hit a ball, that looked like going dead anyway, therefore the final whistle would have been blow, no penalty would have been given, hence no try to Japan!
But, Williams being Williams, was to busy playing rugby to look at the clock!
Shame the rest of the team did work hard like he does, if they did, they would be awesome!
Will add though.........entertaining game!

I had the Irish commentary and I want to know if there is a history between that commentator and Canada? The way he was talking was like they had each slept with his mother and then slapped her. I was almost falling out of my chair with laughter it was so funny.
I love the Irish commentators, so freakin brutally honest about everything... it's awesome. Canada were boring but I think that has a lot to do with the bulk of their pro's playing in Europe. Watching Rugby here in Canada, they are very much different. They are expansive to a fault. They constantly try to attack from crazy positions... it's quite fun to watch. Very disappointing to see the change at the top level.
Still, not the greatest match but the finish was awesome!!!!
