Unless you're a member, there will be parties that will be exclusive, excluding you if you choose not to join...However, if you have a good friend on the inside you'll almost always have a standing invite to the big parties. I'm neither, pro or con frats, but it's always nice to have someone who has your back and Fraternities stick together....and in the real world any way you can grow your network of contacts of people you can count on can prove to be priceless.
Big decision...good luck.

Some will and some won't. The members of the fraternity may feel that if you are going to enjoy the benefits of the fraternity you need to pay to be a member. There are a lot of social events that fraternity's do that are not open to the public, ie brotherhoods, where the brothers hang out together to drink, play cards or other sports. Also you will miss out on exchanges with sororities, being in a fraternity is a great way to meet girls.

OK. Let's think about this. You go to thier parties NOW, and you're not a member. Will they let you go to thier parties THEN if you're not a member? Hmmm. Not too difficult to figure out, is it?
By the way, since when do people give out "invitations" to frat parties? Most are just a "show up if you want" type of thing.

They usually wont. They don't like more guys than girls at those things. I never was in a frat but got into a lot of the parties because some of my best friends were in leadership positions and let me in!

Can you pay for beer? If so, you will be allowed into any of their parties. Why else would you even want to be around them?

Sure, especially if you've already made friends there. Just make sure you tell them why you are not pledging.
