I have a small Hitachi black and white that I got for Christmas in 1979 that still works great, have never had a problem with it. I keep it in my barn to watch 'As the World Turns' when I'm goind chores.

I dont know what year it is, but the remote used to be a chime set. I can jiggle my keys and change the channels. My work keys will change the volume. I bought it used in '91 out of the newspaper for $75.

I got one in the spare bedroom, from 1989. It still works. And it has rabbit ears on it from the 1970's cause I don't have cable.
