My twin sister's friend asked her, "Why do you look like your twin sister? Why do you look fat like her on this picture? Were you pregnant?" Now if you were me (the supposedly FAT twin), would you be offended to see this question posted on a picture comment on MySpace? My feelings are really hurt.

Just ignore her. Obviously she isn't too smart in the first place to ask why a twin looks like her sister. Don't even waste your time on this person.

Don't let it get you down. They all obviously have a "dullness of perception" that can't be easily fixed. I never lost my "baby" fat until I was in the Army and many years later, it has come back. Some people are just fools and think only thin people are worth while. You hang in there and don't worry about what they say or write. Some of the most talented people I have known weren't skinny. The arts areas are full of them if you look. The newest scientific research says that these "skinny model" types are putting their lives at risk by their constant dieting, etc. There is a happy medium. If your doctor says you are OK then you have it made in the shade. Stop reading what they are writing about you and don't hang around those who will call you names, etc. By the way, no set of twins has been proven to be 100% exactly alike. There are always differences, even if they are more subtle than the ones between you and your sister.

Look at it this way:

God made you.
God doesn't make mistakes.
God definitely doesn't make junk.
If you were the only person in the world, Jesus still would have died for you on the cross to save you from the penalty of sin.
Therefore it doesn't matter what others may think about you because Jesus thinks you are worth His life.
Go with that.

Don't worry about the comment--what are you going to do about it but get more upset?

Sisters crack me up sometimes. I knew a girl who told me how hot her sister was, and when I met the sister, the girl I knew was definitely the pretty one of the family. The girl I knew wasn't fat, but she had the broader waist that goes with the enormous breasts she had that her sister didn't. Sure her sister was four sizes smaller, but better looking? No way--and I usually would pick petite over busty any day. Another lady I met was absolutely beautiful, but wore pony tails and jeans. She told me about her twin that was 'the pretty one'. I don't see how--her sister just took a little extra time to make her hair puffier. So really, don't worry about the comment, which of you is fatter, or any of that mess. Be the best you can be and don't worry if you think your sister is better at looking good than you--other people may think differently.

one yes i would be offended, but two. your sisters friend DID ask "why do you look like your twin sister"...hmm if someone actually asks that then they're a few cards to short of a deck if you know what i mean. lol they dont sound too bright, considering twins=look alike. so try not to pay attention to someone who asks a question like that. however, i would tell your sister that that comment hurt your feelings or tell that to her friend in person.

I have a twin sister & we are identical. We are both the same size but she is a little skinnier and toned up...It hurts my feelings when someone leaves me a comment like "i see you lost weight, now you look like your sister", I dont need to lose any weight but people notice these insecurities. I am sorry for this but tell your sister to delete the comment and talk to her "friend".

Yes. That was really rude of your Sister's friend to say that. There are some people out there who don't think before they speak or in this case post.

l0l, feelings are hurt hu? Well get over it sister, you should NOT care about what others think about the whole appearance deal. If you're big boned then it's all good! There's plenty of huge biatches out there that are comfortable of who they are. You could have as many rolls as the Good Year blimp, and look like you are baking some bread in your shoe, but at the end of it all, YOU'VE GOT TO STRUT

All the more reason to decide you can live without places like My Space. Why open yourself to the whole world being able to be rude and hurtful - got enough of those in our real time lives.

Put yourself out there like that and you are asking for mean people to line up. crazy.
