I agree with the first post, check and clean your battery cables, if it does it after that, have a battery test done, if battery checks out ok, it probably is a starter going bad.

You've got one of two problems, Karen. Either your battery cable connections need to be removed and cleaned because they're making an intermittent bad connection, or your starter solenoid is making the intermittent bad electrical connection. Also, if your battery is 5 or more years old, you need a new one. You can have your battery and charging system checked for free at the battery sales center or auto parts store. If it turns out your battery and cable connections are good all the way to the starter motor and engine ground, then you'll end up replacing your complete starter motor in most cases because the starter solenoid is an integral part of the starter motor assembly on most modern cars.

you have a bad battery connection on it,probably what you need to do is clean all the connections real good, and also check the one where the positive cable runs down to the stater ,that one may be a little loose on it,if it always starts it just a bad connection, one other possibility also is the starter may be going out on it, id try cleaning all the connections and the ground wires and if that don't help it you may have to replace the starter, good luck with it.
