Here in Serbia only a small minority of nut-jobs think that USA is doing good to the world... of course, if you mean about the bombing, killing etc. So it is a matter of perspective. USA and its stooges say it's good, because it suits their interests. The same goes for declaring some countries evil.
It's all about money and power. USA bombed Serbia in 1999., now they are taking a part of our country (and giving it to Muslim Albanians, if someone doesn't know that), and yet, our government and our media are pro-American. We already have a domestic Fox channel. So, we'll soon be brainwashed and send our troops to fight your wars with you. Have no fear... just try to understand whose wars the USA is fighting....

all countries do this or would like to, the only difference between the USA and many other countries is that the USA is in a better position to do it at this point in time (impose it's will on others)
Note, I'm not saying that this is right or good/bad, just that this is how the world works

Its been going on ever since the u.s got nuclear power. We dont want anyone better than us, thats what the govt thinks. I think the world passed us by since bush took over. We are stuck in Iraq and the world is laughing at us.

Did you have a specific thing in mind?
Another poster mentioned that we have nuclear weapons and others don't. We'll there's a reason for that. We have planes too, but we don't intentionally fly them into buildings.

what sort of things are you talking about? You need to give more detail. If you mean having nuclear weapons, that's because since it was first created, America has become what people call the "world police". It get's into other's business to try and protect everyone.
