What if you are seeing 2-3 different doctors and they all have a different opinion on your disability status? One of my doctors has me on a temporary partial (which he will probably lift when I see him next week), and one of my doctors has me on a permanent partial...I also have an appointment with another doctor for a third opinion (all in the same week). Which doctor does worker's comp go by? Should I cut it down to just one doctor? I'm really confused.

When my friend applied for disability they requested all his medical records. Then they made an appt. for him to see a doctor of their choice. I think his opinion was the most important.

Workers Comp will probably go by either the doctor they choose for you to go see, or the doctor that will be in their favor, in your case temp partial. You can get a third opinion, which I would seeing as how there are already 2 opinions, and whichever one you like the best, submit those results to your workers comp.

You should stick with one Dr that you are comfortable with and has no history of trying to rip off Insurance companies. The Workers comp Co will go over all your Dr.'s notes and they may have you see one of thier Dr.'s to make sure your injuries are real. Be careful with thier Dr though, they are out to save the Insurance Co. Money and they'll forget your the one in need of help.
