Is it possible that in an entire country, there are no homosexuals? For someone to represent an entire nation at UNO and come out with gems like this,what does that say about
1) Basic honesty and character of such people
2) Their religion
3) Intelligance level
Do we hear Muslim groups come out and ridicule him, leave alone even disagree with him?

I don't believe him.Gay people are probably very afraid to be open in that society.
In former communist countries it was against the law to be homosexual.They were concidered either a criminal or insane.
They had a choice if found out, either jail or mental hospital.
When people have choices like that, of course they will keep it, "in the closet."

In Iran two men touching their butts or thighs or being in bed together get 100 lashes for the first three offenses and the forth time is punishable by death. Lesbians also get 100 lashes for the first three offenses and the forth time is death. Same sex kissing is worth 60 lashes. Sodomy is a crime punishable by death.
So maybe there won't be homosexuals in Iran if they keep killing them. How terrible!

Probably it means that they are all in the closet which is where these type of people where when I was growing up in England many years ago.
