I was a teenage mother back at 16yrs old. I remember trying to get pregnant for the reason that I thought that I was inlove and I wanted a reason for him to love me more. I felt that having a baby would help me deal with my low self esteem. I was soo wrong. I stayed in school and graduated but i missed my graduation and my prom. I had to work and go to school. I have to say that this experience made me a strong person but I wouldnt want to see my daughter living this life like I did. I hope teens from today take a look at real life people like me and see the effects it has in the longrun. I didnt get to go to college and do what I wanted to do. Yes, I have a good job but this was never one of my goals. I'm 28 with 3 kids and feel like I'm 40. Any teen who wants a baby, think about it.

Oh yeah, I'm sure there are teens on here getting advice on conceiving. I am bothered too. It is really the parents job to educate, inform, and prevent their child getting pregnant. I don't care what anyone says either, a teen does know right from wrong and tho their minds sometimes don't stretch so far as to realize how bad the idea of having a baby is, they still know they are wrong. It is natural for a teen girl to want a baby... I did. But I also had a mother who said she would beat the hell out of me if I ended up pregnant before I was of age. Where I come from you obey your parents or else... My mama don't play. Their parents need to get it together... so many children wind up pregnant and then the parent ends up crying that they didn't raise their kids like that. Then you know we gotta ask them... where were you when your child was having sex?? You have reason for concern because this is your world too, but at the same time its the parents responsibility.

I agree that it's a terrible thing for teens to use this as a means of getting pregnant. Yahoo should protect teens by banning this category from their use, via the profile listed age. However, it could be a problem when you think about yahoo being run by a company here in America and the first amendment rights of individuals. Children have rights to free speech as do adults. Although this is a MORAL &/or ETHICAL arguement, not a legal one. Yahoo Controllers....what do you say?! :D

I am sorry but I am not going to sit there and check everyone's profile that I respond/ give advice to.
I am one of those people who come on this and ask questions and like to have informational responses and I don't expect people to check my profile. I am 23 and how about if people were like "Shes too young to give advice to" then I would be missing out alot and this would be a waste of my time. Yeah, I don't like seeing teenagers getting pregnant, but you want to know what? They will get this information anyway possible.

No not at all!!! This is ridiculous!! What is this world coming to? Most of these teenagers are probally ones that are very insecure and want to be loved. Coming from so many different backgrounds. But non the less, they need to focus on school and education rather than parenting. If they are pregnant okay ask advise on how to care for the baby or what have you but not oh how does a 13 year old consieve. That's ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And Jamie MC you need psycho help and a dictonary, you can't be serious?

I agree that its horrible that teens are asking how to concieve, but our jobs here are to answer questions that are asked, not to judge or put our beliefs on them. If someone ask a question I want to give them to correct information however old they may be. My concern isn't their age, but its that they get helpful information.
Its a very good question, but people, including myself, don't take the extra time to look at their age, we just want to answer the questions to the best of our knowledge and go on to the next one.

it's a sad world we live in. I know some grls get on, to find out how to get pregnant to "keep" their bf! Yikes! No matter what age you are, that's not the way to go!
I try to weed out the ones who are serious and the ones who aren't. But don't be too disheartened by what you're reading on here....half these kids are just making up ridiculous stories for a laugh.

lol I answered this one girls question the other day where she asked... " I am not getting pregnant why? we had a few accidents, and forgot to put on a condom" ... I had a few chuckles because by her spelling she must have been 15 or so, I told her maybe she should consult her boyfriend before she goes on planning by herself.
I had a baby at 18 however, I knew I had to grow up fortunetly so did my boyfriend who is now my husband, but not everyone is like that... not even 30 % of young parents. they think its like a chuiaua they can carry in their purse.

no ur not alone in this...
I find it very disturbing...
i am 32 weeks pregnant. I am 22 and my hubby is 26. I would have never even considered ttc as a teen. Babies deserve so much better.

Wow! That is a disturbing thought!! Thanks for sharing it!! Kids have no idea the responsibilities that come with child-bearing and raising!! If they want to have babies so they feel loved or more like an adult, they quickly find out, they'll have to wait awhile because that kind of thinking is backwards! Their babies are the ones that need to be loved by mature, emotional stable parents!
