Seriously, all I hear Asian men complain about is how they can get a white girl. This seems a little sick to me. I'd be mortified if I were an Asian woman. It's crazy!

There are lots of different races and cultures in the world. Asian men are positively proccupied with one specific race. Whites. only whites. Why is that?

Speaking as an asian man (of the chinese/japanese/korean variety), i don't know that I'm preoccupied with the white woman. I'm kind of preoccupied with all women ;). But what you say is pretty true: for twinkie asians (do a search on the term). Cool asians (rice boyz and the like) pretty much date within the community.
That said,most of the people i know are white. I do also know that I'm not particularly attracted to other asians but I love indian women (aka southeast asians).
I guess when you are inundated in a culture where every show is full of caucasians (celebrating caucasian beauty) and most asians are depicted as exotic (the women) or eunuched (the men) you're brainwashed into thinking it has to be that way and nothing else.

In old times when all the Russian prostitutes were pouring over the border into China, the men there had little regard for them. Really, E. European women are probably the best looking in Asia, if not the world, but they didn't really care for the blondes, redheads and everything in between, mostly because they were lowclass. Today something can be said for the class issue because the average Asian man seems to prefer a white girl, at least in the U.S.

Do they? I am an Asian and I can tell you positively that you've only known a few Asian men. There are 1 billion Asian men in this world, you know. I think they prefer Asian women for their values. They like white women for their looks but are intimidated by them.

Especially the Filipinos and Koreans.

Same reason why I married an Asian woman. There is so much more to get to know about them. They are different and unique. Why would you think that it is sick?
