well just go into home depot and lowes and everything is also in spanish, instructions always come in half spanish, etc

It can only "affect" it in a positive way: it will make it RICHER. As it is the case for EVERY culture, there are positive and negative features to the hispanic/latin culture. I suppose each person is free to choose what features they want to "borrow" or adopt and which not. The USA does not have a culture of their own, their culture was formed by several others that were mixed and thus enriched. This is one of those cases in which 1+1 is not = 2 ....... because the final outcome is bigger / better than the sum of its parts. So latin people can enrich US culture even further with their influence.

They already have. Sweet 16 parties were originally quineneras and even the candles on the cake is originally a Spanish tradition.

If you really think about it, there are probably a lot more things that were originally Spanish.
