As good a category as any. Babies can have erections. One woman said she saw a sonogram of a fetus masturbating. There is no "average" age. Generally by puberty (12-13) most boys have that experience (and are mortified by it), but any time from birth on is normal. It proves everything is working OK. A bigger concern would be if he didn't get erections. Why is he showing you every day? It's probably making him want to masturbate, but he just hasn't discovered how to do that yet so he doesn't know what to do about the feeling. Maybe someone should show him how so he's not so uncomfortable all the time.

You just over-looked this minor detail because none of the others felt the need to show & tell.
And this showing is quiet common with the youngest son in a lot of families.
Everytime he shows you, just make it as a normal natural reaction for boys when they first wake up before they urinate. No Problem!

CoolDude. I was disturbed by your answer. Seems like you are way to in tune with young boys and masterbation. Maybe you should find another question to answer. This woman is being serious! The little boy isnt uncomfortable, or wanting to masterbate. You are demented.
As for the mother, this is completely normal. Although, you should explain to him that, that is his PRIVATE area. And that means that no one should be seeing it.
You really need to teach your kids privacy and that nobody should be around there area or touch them. Because there are alot of sick people out there, who would love to be flashed by the innocents of a child.

It relies upon... I propose, there are some pupils who especially plenty do no longer care approximately college to the factor that they start to get into undesirable impacts, and could get particular help... yet while that is common, i'm undecided. yet you're able to probably attempt to a minimum of get on a typical sleep time table... I used to doze off each and all the time in center college. I additionally had no acquaintances, and grow to be bullied and picked on by utilising boys(which extremely makes a preteen/teenage woman sense completely undesirable approximately herself at that age). It extremely sucked because you will possibly get in project for sound asleep in college, and oldsters may be disenchanted for paying for undesirable grades. In extreme college, I did extra useful, because of the fact I slept at a extra familiar time, and in the long-term, I felt extra useful and happier as properly, even nonetheless I nonetheless did no longer have any acquaintances, and a boy bullied me in the time of type(and the teachers did no longer care, each and every so often that they had even motivate him). I propose, you're able to probably attempt to do as properly as you may, because of the fact once you're older, your destiny needs could exchange, and you may finally end up desiring a occupation. while i grow to be youthful, I used to easily want to drop out once I became 18, yet I preservered, and now i'm getting extra coaching(college). I propose thinking some occupation which you will delight in. as an occasion, i like digital paintings and such, so i'm thinking of adjusting into an animator or pastime clothier.

It's very normal for this to happen. At his age, it's all involuntary.
To make you laugh...
This used to happen to my brother when he was 5 or 6. He used to discover his erection and show us all. He had no idea what was going on and thought it was great. He was actually sad when it went away... 3 years later and he is still the same way when he randomly gets an erection. :)

Get your mind out of the gutter for a moment [just kidding] and realize that your boys are completely normal
Morning erections are natural part of the R.E.M sleep cycle and have nothing at all to do with any sexual thoughts or dreams .

This is normal even for an infant boy. Before puberty the morning urge just to pee is usually the reason behind this.
There is nothing sexual about it.
I am sure that your other boys went though it too, although they won't talk to you about it.
So don't get to concerned, it's just nature.

Totally normal. I just told my son (who thought it was cool 'cuz it was growing lol) that boys are different from girls, and to wait till it shrinks to pee (my husband said it was advisable). Also, told him it was a private thing and nobody else needs to be shown (sounds like that might help your case too).
