The best spyware protection you will get comes from any spyware program which gives real-time protection, most free anti spyware programs don't; like ad-aware.
For free real-time protect I use Advanced WindowsCare Personal Edition, this give great real-time protection better than spywareguard or spywareblaster or window defender.
