You can get a prescription for marijuana for pain control. He went to jail because his prescription was expired...it would be like having a prescription drug, like Oxycontin, in your possession without a prescription. His prescription could very well be legitimate and legal. Posters who say you cannot get a prescription of marijuana are mistaken....marijuana is prescribed for chronic, intractable pain; nausea, anorexia, and pain related to cancer, and glaucoma, just to name the more well known diagnoses. There is an abundance of information on the internet about medical use of marijuana....look it up.

i haven't heard all people shelter him in this foundation, not even Rush himself who admitted that he replaced into hooked on prescription soreness drugs. Opiates are opiates no rely if that is heroin, opium, oxycontin or in spite of.He admitted that he replaced into an addict and then checked himself right into a medical care midsection. there replaced into in no way any data that he gained pills on the line. there replaced right into a housekeeper that claimed he did and purchased her tale to a tabloid. The Palm sea coast County State criminal expert might have had Rush on surgeon buying yet that wasn't shown. who're you speaking approximately ? in spite of if Rush replaced into street doping as you allege, what's your extra suitable element ? Do you think of that something as properly the unfastened marketplace ought to decide for who's on the radio ?

It may be a Federal crime, but as far as state enforcement it is "legal." Unless the DEA wants to get involved for a mere possession charge (misdemeanor hook-and-cite), if the perscrpition is real (there are places you can legally get it for medicinal reasons), he wouldn't get hassled much. It would be PC for arrest or detention by a Police Officer, but conviction is unlikely. This is all based on California law of course.

As far as I know, they do that in California and Oregon. My father-in-law has a prescription for his back pains and get marijuana that way in California. He said to, that's fairly easy.

Even with a terminal illness, you can not get a prescription for Marijuana.
Drug stores don't carry the stuff - only street dealers and I don't think insurance companies reimburse them.
