Minestrone. I love that because I can empty out the refrigerator and put it all in that pot with some pasta and it's all good! And good for you!!

Depends entirely on the sandwich.
With grilled cheese, I have tomato soup or vegetable soup
With chicken, usually cream of broccoli
With a roast beef sandwich, nothing's better than french onion or potato soup.

Tomato soup hands down. Maybe get a little creative with the soup, but it has to be tomato based
