Hmmmmm.... Either he lied about his sterility or your friend had been dibbin' and dabbin' between him and someone else and ol' boy isn't the daddy but someone else.
Who is to say? You just know what she's told you, what you think you know. Anything is possible.
Plus, even if he was truly sterile, as many diseases that are out there why wouldn't she want to use a condom anyway. It's called condoms and birthcontrol... I don't know, in this day and age, I just can't understand how ignorance and irresponsibility is still running on a rampage out there.
She'll just have to wait till the babies are born to clear it up by having a DNA test done on the "sterile" individual or abort and save herself and the family the misery.

For men or women, surgery is still not 100% effective in preventing pregnancy. The other issue, he could also be lying about having the surgery in the first place. She should have insisted on a condom to help prevent STDs as well. But she did CHOOSE not to use a condom.
Because Health Care Records are protected by certain laws, known as HIPPA, she won' t be able to prove this, unless he willingly show her the information.
I don't know what she can legally do anything other than demand paternity test to prove the kids are his. However she should consider finding a lawyer help her clean up the mess.

He's a jerk but she is too. I'm sorry about the expression but I'm going to present my case in detail.
- She went on a date (I understand A date, one and only) and decided not to use a condom based on his own statement and with the fact presented before her that he has been engaged in frequent promiscuous sex.
- She has two other kids from two other different fathers.
I can't imagine why either would want to live with the other. Save the kids, tell her to get an abortion.
(If it's a legal option. No flaming, please. The law is there to fix the problems created by irresponsible people like the two described in this question.)

There's 2 problems here. The first is that this idiot is lying and needs to fully support his kid. If a paternity test (only done after birth) of her twins reveals he is the father, then yes, child support is definitely in order. Also, this guy is a loser, why in the world would she let someone in her house who talks to her like that, she needs to get a better opinion of herself. And the second issue: If he engaged in so much promiscuity, then she needs to be checked out for sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV. The reason I say this, if he can lie and deny about his sterilization issues, he can lie to himself that he could be in danger of being a carrier. I'd see a doctor soon if I were your friend. And btw: if she has 2 bedrooms, with 2 kids, there's really no room in her house for him. Sorry, kids first, this man needs to be thrown out!

What a bunch of stupid people. Even if he was certifiably sterile, (who saw that certificate by the way, does he carry it around with him?) that wouldn't eliminate the possibility of STD. She needs to protect herself and those two new babies legally. But, you know something, shes so dumb that she won't, hes too sharp to let her. And I know I'm going to get thumbs down on this, but since this will make four kids for her and he calls her a whore not worth marrying, but OK for sex. I think shes overdue for an abortion, or at least adoption.
I'm really beginning to think such stupidity should not be allowed to reproduce.

If she requests a paternity test, she can get a judge to award child support, but aside from that, I don't think your friend has a valid legal case. The man has indeed been deceitful and your friend has indeed been gullible, but as far as I am aware of, there is no law on the books against plain old stupidity.

That guy is a player, and she needs to get rid of him. Or she can wait until the kids come and the coward will probably run away on his own.
She can petition the court for paternity testing if she wants child support, or she can just tell the loser to get lost. Based on the statements he made, he would have no parental rights unless paternity testing was done.

That guy was lying. The only way to tell of course if they are his children is a paternity test. I feel sorry for your friend, she should have insisted that he still wear a condom.

Your friend is more the fool than anyone else in the situation. Who cares if the guy claimed to be sterile, she should be using condoms period to protect herself from HIV and any other STD's.
I do not feel sorry for your friend. Any woman who is sexually active and does not keep her own condoms is irresponsible in my opinion. No excuses.
You make your bed, you lie in it.

your friend shouldn't let him live with her, she should know better than to trust a prisoner, and she should always insist on protection.
she should get an std test, a paternity test, and when appropriate, child support.
