** Never that long** As a child my mother encouraged us kids to go barefoot to 'save' our shoes!

I've gone well over ten years without any sort of footwear or socks; the first few winters I resorted to footwear a handful of times altogether, the past several years I haven't worn any footwear at all for even a minute, summer or winter.

Yes. I have gone barefoot the whole summer many times, when work allowed it. Two summers I went barefoot the entire time with no job, just travel. I go barefoot everywhere except work now, but I've extended my barefoot time to 8 months per year. One day I will move somewhere warm and own my own business. Then I will go barefoot all day every day year round.

I can't believe you go out bare footed. What about stepping on Dog poo,Gum and glass. How unsanitary that would be.Even stone age men wore shoes of leather wrapped around and tied. This is trying to tell you something. You absorb germs Thur your feet.
