Yes...in what is spoken and what is unspoken...in the spaces between the words and in the implications of those same words...in visions, hunches and intuitions, and in memories and associations...in secret whispers and in the roar of the crowd...in a falling sparrow and in a playing child.
(and don't forget music)

Hi Rena,
God speaks in silence or in loud voice. He could deliver His message in any forms for He is the Ompnipotent. It is not the way that matters but the what the message He wants to impart it to us. God has got all the ways in relaying His words. What is important and vital is the belief we have in Him. God is always there and it is the availabilty of men that is at stake for some forgot the very purpose on why they live in this wonderful earth.
Great question my good friend. Have a wonderful day!

Yes, I could hear God mostly in my silence;.. at times when I'm down and need someone to talk to but nobody's around. I could hear Him telling me not to worry as everything would be OK. It's like a voice within me that uplifts my spirit and rejuvenates my faltering faith. I know that in all other times when the clamors and clutters get too loud, His voice seems to sink in a 'stand-by',..waiting for my moment of calm,.. until He could speak and I could hear once again. Only in silence could God's voice be clearly heard.

When ever I manage to sit still with the silence is the time I often hear God the most. Be still and know I am God means so much to me `cos I`m never very still ...... but that`s when I hear God the most.

He is actually speaking to us all the time. We just have to learn the process of hearing Him. Bhakti Yoga is the process of direct association with God also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. Yes, and in the turmoil too. Chanting the maha mantra (the great mantra for deliverance from all suffering) for info Read Bhagavad Gita as it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada asitis.com you can read it on line and go to harekrishnatemple.com. I want to hear Him always

I hear something, but whether it's God or my dad, I can't be sure, seriously I think sometimes I hear my dad talk to me in his voice, when I am in silence or when I am in a distant state of mind. I sure would like to think it's either God or my dad, if not I am crazy. My dad was a very strict Catholic, he would preach at the jail on Saturday's, he took his religion seriously, when he passed his friends that he would have coffee with everyday, said he ditched them for thursday coffee to have coffee with the big guy, I thought that was exactly what he did too! but it's a good feeling to me to hear one or the other in my silence.

Whatever I do God is in my mind. I feel perhaps this is what he wants that is why he has given me this clue. But sometimes worldly-life events take a different turn and I am baffled to the effect that I made an effort as per God's directions and why I am not able to achieve the target. Then I do not know what to do. My earnest wish is that God please abide by your directions and do not confuse me.

I don't hear God speak. I feel the presence of God. I am guided by a wordless knowing. God is beyond "him" and words to me.

Yes, and in the thunder or echoes of canyons in my mind. I hear him when he roars with anger and sighs with the wind through the leaves. In the still of the night and the drone of the insects, he croons to me in lullabyes that soothe my fears. He chuckles at the chipmunks who didn't see me until they'd run up my leg as I nested between the ring of trees where the leaves had fallen. He hissed, "Stay back!" from the barnyard gander as I fed the goslings. I hear him all around me, all the time.

Well he speaks, when someone asks for help there is God trying to make you a better person;
I hear God in my mothers voice.
I see God in my boyfriends eyes
and se his greatness everyday in this world
I see hor good he has been with me since he has given me so much.
And I know he listens to me everytime I pray, cause somehow things always come my way.
Good luck! ;D
