I have a Toshiba Laptop that was unplugged for a while and when I tried to to plug it up and use it there was a RTC battery failure on the screen. Common for not being plugged up for so long. This laptop was in working condition, but the fan had stopped working so I stop using it.
I just replace the fan and the RTC battery. The RTC Battery required for me to almost completely disassemble the laptop. I put every thing togeather, and put it on the charger until the next day. The power is working, battery is fully charged, and the fan even kicks on, but the screen is not displaying at all. It is pitch black as if it is not receiving any power. The Screen was working until I did repairs, so I am think that I have possibly forgot to hook something back up. I made sure that I was grounded, so static should not be an issue. Can't figure out what I have missed. All help is welcomed.
Thanks
