Maybe you're stressedl and need some time off.
Let other people help you. Take at least hour hour daily for yourself, no communication with any other person. Take a walk for 30 min every day and see what happen in your mind. Go to the library and read anything different from your field....
I don't know the answer yet but I'm trying to help you. I'm also broke for more than a year living by family donation and still don't know how to end this situation.
I know what I want to do, I have great ideas, but not how to make it happen. Good luck you may need!

Just know that if you really want to do better, you can. Don't be afraid to talk about your situation to someone, a family member or a friend. Know what you did to mess up and learn from that. Do not give up!

Messed up? What exactly do you mean messed up? Drugs, drink? Get some help, you need it, but I must confess, I don't know where you would get that help in the UK. Have you got a friendly GP?
