I love 8, the characters and graphics were an amazing leap from the previous versions. My favorite character is Zell, nothing could keep that guy down!

Final Fantasy 10 is my favorite, because I loved the story and characters, especially Yuna. FF6 is my 2nd favorite, and FF7 is my 3rd.

well i gotta say FF7 for the best story line and characters and also summons zero bahamut then comes FFX for its storyline controls and the best ever battle system and last but not least FF12 for its star wars episode 1 and 2 story line the maps the allies the monsters the graphics and its speacial edition metal case i hated the battle system totally useless at sum point but luckily no random battles yeah!! and i will also include dirge of cerberus really fun.

I'll have to agree with ya on FF8,it was a major jump from 7 in everything!!!!!.

I haven't played many, however I did like FF10 and FFVII due to story and characters.
