Wow! I was never close to death but when I was 5 I fell while helping my Mom take out the garbage, cut my finger on broken glass. I remember screaming & crying while my Mom held my finger under running water and she finally took me to the emergency room ( in a taxi because she did not drive), and it was discovered that the tendon had been severed and I had to have surgery. To this day i still can't bend my finger. Good thing it is my left hand. This happened long long ago but I still get uncomfortable thinking about it!

Had my eyelid tore 1/2 off when i was 3 year old.Drown when i was 9.Got hit with a ball bat in the other eye at 13.Had 7 stitches.I could keep going.

Damn mine sounds stupid compared to yours... but I ran into a wall when I was 3 and had 12 stitches in my head, I broke my nose from falling off of monkey bars, jumped out of a swing and broke all of the fingers in my hands, had to get 10 stitches in my arm from a piece of glass that cut my arm, I just broke my middle finger on my left hand Saturday from trying to play football... the list goes on and on

Holy crap! Yours is bad. I can't top that.
I got cornered and attacked by a horse once. He kicked me so bad and so hard he dislocated my hip - all the cartilage and soft tissue was destroyed. The surgeon had to "re-dislocate" my hip to get in there and clean it up.
I also fell asleep in the sun once with no sun-block (and I'm Irish people!). I got 2nd degree burns on 50% of my body. My skin bubbled up, cracked, peeled, and bled in some places. It looked like the desert floor with cracks in it. I actually went blind from it.
I guess those are my 2 worst.

Holly ****. That's a bar story. Not many can say they've been pronounced dead. And no one can say three times!!
I got into a wrestling match with a Freight liner truck. I busted his grill pretty good but in the end, he won when he dislocated my right knee, broke four of my ribs, and my shoulder.

Well i'm 14 now when I was 11 my hip slipped out of the socket so they put a screw in. It went into the joint so they took it out. They then put a plate and 5 screws in a took those out. They put 3 screws in in Feb and took them out in July. I'm getting a MRI Nov 6 to see if I need more. If I do they might repeat the 3rd surgery.

None really, other then getting blasted while playing football (someone ran towards me while I was running at full-speed and jumped up and their knee hit me square in the chest and knocked all of the air out of my lungs and compressed them. I had no breath and couldn't inhale any air for like 3 minutes. LOL I couldn't say anything either!).

I split my head open when I was little and had to have 15 stiches. Check this out though, this summer my daughter kicked our broken chain link fence gate and teh wire went right through her little toe. I ahd to call 911 to cut her off the fence, not a good day....
