It would be his fourth superbowl win, and the second time a team went undefeated. What will they say about Tom if that happens (and it's not far fetched).

Football is not a one man sport, last I checked, there were 22 players on the team making plays (yet to include the special team). It is unfortunate that the QB get way too much credit than he deserves. So Tom Brady was a 2 times Superbowl MVP, and he probably will go into the Hall Of Fame because of that as well, but if anybody ever sit back and really look at what he's done in the 3 superbowls that New England won recently, they might see what I see here.

In 2005, New England defeated Philadelphia, Tom Brady threw for 236 yards and 2 TD's, Deion Branch ended up winning the MVP for catching 11 passes without a TD, while the MVP should have been given to Rodney Harrison who made 2 INT's in the Red Zone.

In 2004, New England defeated Carolina, Tom Brady threw for 354 yards, 3 Td's and 1 Int. I still rememeber watching this game, because I was cheering for Carolina, and I truly thought they were gonna win that game. However I have to admit, Brady deserved to win this MVP, because the two best players on the field that night was him, and Jake Delhomme, and since his team won, he got the nod.

In 2002 though, the year that people actually recognized the name of Tom Brady, they gave him way too much credit in that game than they should have. Granted that he stepped in for a guy who was injured and produced, but he did not WIN that game for New England, Adam Vinitieri did, and by the way, I haven't forgotten the Ty Law's INT, and ran in for the TD that got everything started. So who should have been the MVP for that game? Not just Tom Brady.

Not to take anything away from Tom Brady, he is a very good QB, but to answer your question realistically, New England will not go undefeated, and even if they did, there won't be much to say about Tom Brady.

It is far fetched...right now. Sorry but the Patriots have not even faced a real team yet this year. Bills 0-3, Jets 1-2, (only win came against the Bills); Chargers, who's only win came against the Bears who plays just as bad as the Bills and Jets. The Pats do look awfully good, but lets see them play a team likely to go at least 8-8 this season before we start crowning Brady. Combined record of Patriots opponents so far... 1-7. Undefeated, unlikely.

that wont happen for two reasons, the Patriots wont recover from this and surely wont go undefeated but theyll make the playoffs and lose, and Dallas has a shot but they arent the same type of team as the New York Giants the Cowboys collapsed and stumbled into the playoffs and Tomy Romo didnt play very well against the Giants but Dallas does have a shot to get there,Im going Colts who will have the same team again and will be back there after a bad year where they still won 13 games against a young Packers team(except Favre,Woodson,Driver) who will only continue to get better and was one good drive away this year, the Giants will lose some players and wont be back i still think Eli Manning can be erratic despite winning the Super Bowl this year Green Bay Packers.vs.Indianapollis Colts in 2009

It's not going to happen, because they play a lot of tough teams. If they do go undefeated, people will probably say the same things about Tom Brady they've been saying for the past 5 years: "he's so awesome!" "He's the best in the history of the league!" Blah, blah, blah. He's a product of a system. He's such an accurate passer because the system he runs is based on 5-7 yard dink and dump passes. I'm not saying he couldn't be a good quarterback anywhere else, but I think the reason he's so "great" is because of the system he's in now. You'll notice though, that the Patriots haven't been so hot without Charlie Weiss and Romeo Crenell.

why stop there.

i predict that as long as Brady is QB, that the pats will never lose ever ever again.

what will they say of him then?

moss is suddenly "a team player", and a "leader".

look, it IS far-fetched. if you knew anything about statistics, you'd realize that the fact that since the dolphins, NO one has gone undefeated. that's reality. the NFL is too competitive.

are the pats favored to be in the super bowl? probably.
is brady good? somewhat
is he a god? no
am i a pats hater? no
am i a realist? yes
does winning the super bowl make it ok to father multiple babies? i don't know. YOU answer, but just put yourself in the kid's/mom's place. how about this? for every super bowl ring, he gets to have another illegitimate child. that's fair, right?

you people crack me up. it's freaking WEEK THREE.

why stop at the end of the season? just make some grandiose claim that they won't lose a game for the next four years, and that they'll never allow anyone to score more than 14 points on them

"it not far fetched"

sheesh.

where were all of you people when tony eason was around?

yeah, and "dogfighting" was Vick's "personal business". good logic there, genius. writing "what if" books is OJs business. yeah, it's their business, if i don't pay their paycheck. they exist because of the fan. getting PAID to play a GAME. i think they should be concerned about what their true employer thinks of them. but we don't. we let them off the hook. why? cuz we're infatuated w/ entertainment. what other culture holds in higher esteem their "recreational competitors" (Athletes), and people who are fake for a living (actors), over the people who actually have the hardest, yet most important jobs (police, fireman, nurses, teachers, soldiers)?

money talks. too bad Americans don't appreciate it. keep buying Japanese. and hazardous Chinese toys.

They're not going undefeated..and if they do they're truly AMAZING. Once they clinch they won't play Brady or much of the other key players at all. But if they do then people will finally realize that Brady is better than Manning and has a better team. Manning's hadgood receiver's FOREVER and only got 1 ring...the best reciever Brady had before this year was Deion Branch..who's average. Now that he has receivers..look what's happening.

they wont go undefeated this season and if they did and they do win the superbowl, i think the patsies need to give the lombardi to comissioner and the officials i mean they gave them the tuck rule game, they dont flag them for holding recievers or pass interferance, id give them credit for 1 superbowl but not all three, and i hope he dosent get into the hall of fame thats for exceptional players not dufaces like brady, going undefeated is quite a task the pats dont have the defence to do that, but who knows a few questionable calls at the right time i could see them winning it again....my question is how much do the officials count aginst the patsies salary cap?

He would definately go down as a legend. Hes my quarterback this year for fantasy football, so I would love if they went undefeated!

People would still consider the dynasty of the Patriots tainted because of the scandal and he would still need to step it up as a father to his new baby in order to gain the most points in everybody's book.

Same as they say now. People who love him, love him. People who hate him will wine and cry about cheating or having children out of wedlock. Same old silly stuff, nothing will change 16-0, 0-16 wont change what people say. I seriously doubt tom brady cares what people say about him, he's doing just a little better than them anyways.

i cant see them going undefeated. its incredibly difficult to do. if it were to happen though it would take an impressive resume and put it over the top. hes already a hall of famer but adding an undefeated season would make him the best ever. the guy has always performed well even when he didnt have any of those weapons
