I think being loved is better. Knowing that there are people who love and care about you is a great feeling. Being in love is nice too but even if you're not in love with anyone, there will still be others who show you that they love you.

There is no better feeling than being in love...but there is also no greater pain than that person not loving you back. So being loved would be the choice for me.

I do think we need to feel loved as a part of our physical well being* so which is better...is a toss up*

Well, as fantastic as 'being in love' is, the simple truth is if you're in love with someone who doesn't love you, it's horrible!! So I'd have to say that being loved would be better. Now, if you were in love with someone who loved you, that's heaven!!!
