Bioshock: 1 out of 10?

Question

I just played the demo for Bioshock and i really like the game so far, does anyone recomend this game? I would like to know a reveiw from actual people before i buy it.

I absolutely loved it. You can find a review at gamespot.com. The plot was deep and immersive (I loved the audio logs that you find laying around the city). The action was great. Best of all, this game is long enough to be worth the money.

My only gripe is that your character doesn't specialize as well as I had hoped. I was a huge fan of System Shock 2 (an older game that, while not related story-wise, served as the foundation of Bioshock), and loved the fact that you could specialize as a hacker, a shooter, or a psion (or mix and match skills however you wanted). In Bioshock, however, you don't have as many skills to improve, so character customization isn't as complex as I would have liked.

My one gripe is a very minor one, however, and was completely overshadowed by the greatness of the game. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
(P.S. - if you have a PC, I recommend getting an old copy of System Shock 2. The graphics are a little dated, but still good, and the gameplay and atmosphere are awesome. If you like Bioshock, you'd like SS2 as well).

Its a really great game. Very very experimental, as you get lots of plasmids, and weapons. You can also invent your own ammo and upgrade your weapons to be more and more powerful. Its also pretty challenging. It took me 2 weeks to beat it. There are 2 alternate endings which made me play it over again, I played through it till the end, thats how fun it was.

And the graphics are absolutely amazing, not to menton the physics of the game, fantastic game overall 9.2 out of 10

My brother bought it, and he won't stop talking about it. I hear it's good, but it was short. He got it on a Friday and beat it 2 days later. It looked great, good graphics. As far as i know, it's an excellent game, and im not into that kind of stuff.

My fiance and I just bought it for our 360 about a week ago. I haven't played it yet, but I'm going to play it when he's done with it. Thats all he does is play that game! He always talks about how cool of a game it is and how it is now one of his favorite games! It makes me quite eager for him to finish so I can play!! Anyhow, I hope this helps somewhat! Good luck :)
