The Great coral reef, considered by some to be a single symbiotic life form (and by far the largest). It sits in one place, and waits for food to come to it, for as long as it takes.

Even if you don't consider that large structure a life form, the elements that very patient entities. Coral, Sea Anemones, and various "fixed based" life forms simply wait for action to come to them.

Human - It's got to be any Chicago Cubs fan.

It has to be a cow. I mean think about it. Could you stand out there all day in a pasture in the hot sun while swatting flies with your tail and still be - or atleast look - that patient?...
