I have fake ivy - would that do?

Laurel or grape leaves. For a costume I think Ivy would be just fine! =)

I think it should be bay which in France we call laurier, I once used dandelion leaves to wear to a toga party but they were rubbish!

Usually laurel or oak...But ivy will look nice in your hair!

They should be laurel leaves but failing that bay leaves might do.
