Presumably someone else's.

Seriously, do not judge purely on price. Find out what happens when it goes wrong, beware RTB (return to base) maintenance because usually the first thing that happens is your disk is wiped discarding all your files and software to give the repairers a known base to work from. Some companies offer 3 yrs next business day on site (or home) parts and labour for a relatively small uplift. You can then ensure the engineer is under control.

Generally go for the highest spec. you can comfortably afford,
and bear in mind however good it is, it will upstaged by something better next month. Check out Dell "outlet centre" on their site, these are surplus or box damaged returns, checked and tested, then sold at a good discount with all the same support as full price kit. You may need to visit several times as stock changes daily.

A tip for laptop users everywhere, do not carry a running machine about, remember you have a high speed spinning disk in there, also backup up data regularly, valuable work every time you close down.

A MacBook. If you buy a PC lappie, you will be hit by viruses and spam within 2 minutes of connecting it to the net. PC maintenance, horrible Vista malfunctions, data loss and incompatibility with existing peripheral hardware like printers or cameras means time and money lost unless you're masochistic enough to want to waste precious time under the hood every day.

Buy a Mac. Have your life back.

A broken one.

A second hand one.

Any with no well-known brand name.

In that order.

Or if that's not what you wanted to know, can you ask a more specific question?
